The silver kangaroo also embodies the characteristics that have made the Royal Australian Mint renowned among collectors both in Australia and overseas: quality of design, superior craftsmanship, attractive packaging and reasonable pricing. Each coin is 1 troy ounce of silver, 40mm in diameter and has a face value of 1 Australian dollar. The coin is enclosed in a hard plastic capsule, embedded in a card.
