American Eagles

American Silver
Eagles |
|
One
of the most beautiful coins of the 20th
century is the Walking Liberty half-dollar
designed by Adolf A. Weinman.
In 1986
the U.S. Mint struck the first Silver Eagle
in proof and uncirculated condition, using
the same popular design.
The American Silver
Eagle is by far the most popular coin we
sell and is also the most popular silver
bullion coin in the world. We sell well
over 50,000 of these coins each year.
Made
of 999 fine silver, each coin is a hefty
one ounce of pure silver. The most anticipated
and sought after versions of these coins
are the so called First Strike coins that
are produced from brand new coin dies, resulting
in coins of particular sharpness and detail.
Another favorite among these coins is the Proof
versions, which are produced specifically
for collectors from highly polished coin
dies. The blank planchets are struck twice, resulting in a coin
with a mirror like background and frosty
raised areas, similar to a cameo effect. |

American Gold
Eagles |
|
American Gold Eagles are the most
widely held gold coins in the world.
Designed upon the famous St Gaudens
gold coins of the early 1900's,
these gold coins are an exceptional
value compared to the other world
gold coins we sell as there are no
import duties or other fees imposed
on them.
Each coin is 22 Karat Gold
with the weight and gold content of
each coin guaranteed by the U.S.
government. Although a new issue is
minted each year with the date
minted on the coin, the design does
not change from year to year. |

American Platinum
Eagles |

Platinum is one of the world’s
scarcest precious metals. Besides
use in various coinage like the
American Platinum Eagle, the metal
also has many industrial and
high-tech uses. In fact, one in
every five consumer products either
contains platinum or is produced
using platinum.
More than a decade after initial
production of the Gold and Silver
American Eagles, the US Mint issued
the first American Platinum Eagle in
1997. These coins quickly became the
most popular platinum bullion coins
in the world.
